- AQUACER 492 provides a hydrophobic treatment for textiles of all fiber types and creates a water-repellent effect. AQUACER 492 does not negatively affect water vapor permeability, which leads to good breathability of the textiles. In addition, AQUACER 492 results in a significantly softer textile compared to some synthetic polymer-based hydrophobing agents.
